Self-scanning
Scan & go without a single self-checkout station. The customer scans items with their own phone, pays and leaves. Staff sell instead of ringing up goods, and the queue at the till shrinks.
How it works
The purchase, minus the queue
- 1 Start The customer scans the store QR and starts shopping right in their phone.
- 2 Scan items Barcodes read with the camera. Weight and price items total correctly too.
- 3 Pay in the phone Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Swish — without joining the checkout line.
- 4 Instant receipt A digital receipt in the app and by email, and the sale drops straight into your accounting records.

FAQ
Good to know
How do we keep shrinkage down with self-scanning?
Customers are identified, not anonymous, and every purchase is logged per person. To raise the bar further you can require BankID at the entrance.
Do weight and price items work?
Yes. The system reads Swedish weight and price barcodes, including store-specific formats, and calculates the right price automatically.
Can we start small?
Yes. Many begin with self-scanning alongside the staffed till and expand to unmanned hours once the flow is proven.
What does the customer need?
A phone with a camera. The QR starts the flow in the browser or the Jobbs app, and sign-up takes under a minute.
