The future of access control

Access control with BankID — without keys or fobs.

The key lives in the phone and the identity is BankID — no fobs or keys to lose, copy or revoke. You manage every door from the browser, with no local server to run. The right person, the right door, the right time — in stores, offices, properties and clubs. A cloud-based access system where every entry is traceable.

50 000+ returning end customers already sign in with JOBBS

The Jobbs app: choose how to get in — BankID, code, SMS or intercom

One unbroken chain

We own the whole path, from phone to door

Our own hardware

Cloud door control we built ourselves

JOBBS builds its own controller. That's why it just works: identification, rules and unlocking all speak the same language, with no third-party link to fail mid-entry. The controller wires into the doors you already have and is built to run around the clock.

FAQ

Good to know before you switch

Does it work with the locks we already have?

In most cases, yes. The controller drives the electric lock already in the door, and we also integrate with locks from Axis, Yale and Avigilon/OpenPath.

How fast can we revoke access?

Instantly. Permissions are managed centrally in the browser and stop working immediately — no fob to collect and no code to change on site.

What happens in a power or internet outage?

Permissions live in the controller — if the internet drops, the door keeps letting the right people in by the rules, and everything syncs once the connection returns.

How does JOBBS differ from a traditional access system with fobs and keys?

A traditional access system relies on physical fobs, tags or keys that get handed out, lost and have to be revoked — often with central equipment and a local server on site. JOBBS flips it: the identity is BankID on the phone, nothing physical to lose or copy, and everything is managed from the browser with no local server to run. You get a cloud-based access system where every entry is tied to a real person. Tags or a door code remain available as a complement if you want them.

Are access fobs and tags secure?

Ordinary access fobs and tags can often be copied with a cheap device, and a code can be forwarded to anyone. With JOBBS the person signs in with BankID — it can't be copied or lent out, and every entry is tied to a real identity. You can still use tags or codes if you want, but BankID is the secure baseline.

What does an access control system cost?

JOBBS Passage has a price from SEK 595/mo per site (one door included), extra doors SEK 149/mo, and the JOBBS Lockswitch controller SEK 3,995 one-off. No hidden setup fees or service contracts. Get in touch for a quote based on the number of doors.

Cloud-based or local access control — what's the difference?

JOBBS is cloud-managed: you administer permissions in the browser from anywhere, without expensive central equipment. At the same time the permissions themselves live in the on-site controller, so the door works even if the internet drops. You get the simplicity of the cloud and the reliability of a local system in one solution.

Is it suitable for HOAs, offices and industry?

Yes. The same system governs entrance doors, gates, storage and shared spaces — for housing associations, offices, properties and industry. You set up staff, residents or members centrally and they open with BankID from day one; permissions stop the moment someone moves out or leaves employment.

More than access control

Why businesses switch to JOBBS

Manage everything from the browser Doors, permissions, schedules and logs, all in one place. Change a rule and it takes effect within seconds — no engineer call-out.
An entry log that holds up Who, where and when, for every single entry. When a dispute or incident comes up, you have the answer in front of you, not a guess.
Access can require payment The door opens only once the guest has paid, is a member or holds a valid booking — built into the platform, no third-party add-on.
Works with your locks Our own controller fits the doors you already have. And we integrate with Axis, Yale and Avigilon/OpenPath as well.

Access, payment, self-scanning and accounting are already connected in the same platform. One supplier to call — not five systems to integrate and keep in sync.

How the switch works

  1. The controller mounts in the door setup you already have — the old system can run in parallel during the transition.
  2. Staff and members are set up centrally and open with BankID from day one.
  3. When you're comfortable, you switch the old one off — no fobs to collect, no service contract to renew.
